What does the demand switch do?
It turns the motor off when system pressure reaches 60 PSI with the outlet closed and restarts it when you open the valve, so the pump only runs while you spray.
What port fittings does it take?
3/8" male NPT fittings. The 7812-201-SB has 3/8" FNPT threaded inlet and outlet ports.
How much current does it pull?
Up to 8.5 amps at 12 VDC. It has 14 AWG leads, 6" long, with a 2-pin connector.
What materials are wetted?
Polypropylene housing, Viton valves, Santoprene diaphragm and stainless steel fasteners. It handles water and most common lawn and farm chemicals up to 140°F.
