The Delavan 7971-114E-SB is the 115/120 volt AC model of the PowerFLO Advanced FB3, one of the highest-flow plug-in diaphragm pumps available at 7.0 GPM. It runs continuously with an internal bypass at 60 PSI, uses Santoprene diaphragms and valves built for high flow, and has 3/4" Quick Attach ports for fast plumbing. Stainless fasteners and a high-torque motor come standard.

How is the 7971-114E-SB powered?

It has a 115/120 VAC totally enclosed motor with a 6 foot power cord and plug and a maximum draw of 1.5 amps.

Can I run this pump all day?

The bypass design lets the pump keep running with the outlet closed by recirculating liquid internally. For extended continuous use, Delavan recommends adding a heat sink to the motor.

What port size does it use?

It has 3/4" Quick Attach inlet and outlet ports. If you need threaded 1/2" FNPT ports instead, see the 7871 series version of the FB3.

Will it self-prime and can it run dry?

Yes. Like all Delavan diaphragm pumps it can run dry and self-primes up to 14 feet. Maximum liquid temperature is 140°F.
